Rent a camper van and Go from point a to point b
Want to rent a camper van in Portland and drive down the coast via Highway 1 – stopping at every beautiful beach, tall tree, and awe inspiring sunset along the way – then fly home out of Los Angeles? Of course you do! Driving the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) on a one-way road trip is a bucket list kind of adventure.
GoCamp offers one-way road trips that start or end in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland.
How Do One-Way Road Trips Work?
You will pay a minimum one-way fee of $300. Once you book, GoCamp will start looking for a renter to do the return trip. If we can find a renter to bring the van home, the one-way fee will remain at $300. If we can’t find another renter to do the return trip, your total one-way fee will increase as follows:
Portland / San Francisco: $600
San Francisco / Los Angeles: $450
Los Angeles / Portland: $750
You must book at least 5 nights, and you must book more than 30 days in advance. We’ll check in with you around 30 days out. At that time, if we have been unable to find a return renter, you have the choice to pay the additional balance due on your one-way trip (the fees above less the $300 you would have already paid), or cancel your trip for a refund less a 5% service fee.
Go For It
Peruse the list of open trips on our one-way page. Each date range represents the second leg of a trip already booked. If you are doing the second leg of a trip already on the books, there is no one-way fee. If one of the trips meets your needs, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 503.327.8512 and we’ll get you booked!
Alternatively, you can start fresh and book the first leg of a one-way adventure based on your own timeline and pick-up and drop-off requirements. When selecting a GoCamp van for your trip, look for the “One-way: YES” designation in the van’s profile. You can also always just email us at email@example.com or call us at 503.327.8512 to discuss your trip and we’ll help you find the right van.
When you email us, be sure to include information about where you’d like to pick up and drop off, the number of people in your party, whether you want to bring a pet, and your preferred dates. To book the first leg of a one-way trip, click the Reserve Now link above.
