Rental rates vary by season and length of rental. Each GoCamp camper van may have a different requirement with regard to minimum rental periods, but all are priced similarly and offer a discount for extended rentals where offered.
High season: May - October
$170 per night
12+ nights: $165 per night
Please note, in the high season most vans have a 5 night minimum.
Low season: November - April
$150 per night
6+ nights: $140 per night
Please note, in the low-season most vans have a 3 night minimum.
First 10 reservations: Every year we send a little gift to the first 10 people who reserve a GoCamp camper van. Reserve early!
Military Discount: GoCamp offers a 10% discount to all military families in honor of our friend Dave Kersey. Please let us know if you are a veteran so we can say thank you.
Beyond the base rate, additional fees are assessed as detailed below.
Cleaning fee: A cleaning fee of $75 is assessed with each rental.
Mileage: 125 miles a day is included in the rental fee. Additional miles are charged at .30 per mile. If mileage charges occur, they are deducted from your security deposit.
Fuel: Your van will have a full tank of gas when you pick it up. Please make sure to fill it back up before you return it. Alternatively, we’ll refuel for you at $5/gallon.
Insurance: You are required to purchase our insurance, which provides coverage for collision and damages and up to $1 million in liability coverage. Insurance charges are based on the length of the rental and vary from 6 - 10% of the base rental rate (excluding any add-ons).
24-Hour Roadside Assistance: You are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the 24-hour roadside assistance offered by our partners, Coach-Net, for $12 a day. For peace of mind, many GoCamp vans do require that you purchase this additional coverage or show proof that you have your own.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND INFO
You pay 50% of the total rental fee at the time of booking. You pay the remainder plus the security deposit 30 days before the rental period, or, if booking with less than 30 days to go, at the time of booking.
You will be charged a $500 security deposit when we collect your final payment (see below). This deposit will be released, less any damages or additional fees (fuel, mileage as noted above) within a week of returning the van.
You can cancel the vehicle for a full refund up to 30 days prior to the rental. If you cancel with less than 30 days prior to the rental, you will receive a refund for 50% of the rental fee. Cancellations must be made in writing.
We are unable to offer refunds for shortened trips if for some reason (e.g. weather, change in schedule) you return the vehicle early.
GoCamp reserves the right to cancel a reservation at our discretion if we feel that the rental would not be safe (e.g. a renter shows up intoxicated, a hurricane is expected along the coast and you are determined to go surfing, etc.). If we cancel the reservation you will receive a full refund.
Your van will come with everything you need, and yet, sometimes you need a little more.
An overflow tent $35: Nice if someone is known to snore, when you are bringing extra passengers, or if the kids want to stretch their wings.
Extra chairs $5 per: Your camper van will have four camp chairs, but let us know if you need extras.
Coleman stove and two tanks of propane $45: All Weekender vans include a Coleman stove. Those renting full Campers can add a Coleman if they'd like to cook outside the van.
Yakima roof box $35: Nice if you have lots of stuff.
Bike rack $45: You are welcome to see if your own bike rack attaches. Vans typically accommodate two by two hitches.
Electric cooler $85: Nice for longer trips as you won't need to stop to replenish the ice in your cooler.
Extra bench or jump seat $85: Let's you transport up to 6 passengers. When you arrive in camp, take it out and voila, you've got extra seating in camp.
Pet fee $100: Some GoCamp camper vans allow pets. See individual listings for more details.
