Escape in Eleanor ⁣🚐⁣🚐⁣🚐

Meet Eleanor; part-time camper, full-time van. She loves piña coladas, getting caught in the rain, and is ready to meet you by tomorrow noon! This little lady’s cheery exterior will be a warm welcome home after each adventurous day. She would love nothing more than to show you around her neck of the woods in and around the stunning state of Colorado.

With space for 4 friendly campers and an available tent for the tagalongs, you’ll have plenty of wiggle room to kick back, relax, and enjoy an effortless getaway. Early mornings with Eleanor are best spent with a cup of french-pressed coffee in hand, while late nights call for a Colorado brew with a starry sky view. Fire up the propane stove to whip up five-star feasts, or keep it simple with some sandwiches in the cooler.

Eleanor always encourages the sweet smell of campfires – and the sticky aftermath of s’mores. When tired eyes pull you inside to rest, retreat to her warm and welcoming interior. Each sleeping space boasts a plush pullout much more cozy than the ground outside, plus additional blankets and pillows when you need them.

Experience the brilliance of the Vanagon design for yourself. There just isn’t an inch of wasted space. And even with all the cool cabinetry, Vanagons like Eleanor have about 93 cubic feet of available cargo space, that’s more than most vans on the market today.

She comes with a FREE state park pass. So rent Eleanor, get caught in the rain, and let your worries melt away as you hit the open road to a Rocky Mountain adventure. ⁣🚐⁣🚐⁣🚐

Pick Up and Drop Off

Rentals are Calculated on a 24-hour Basis: The rental period is generally considered to be 24 hours. If you pick up the van at 10 am, you’ll be expected to return it around 10 am. Most van owners can accommodate requests for a few extra hours at $20/hour. Alternatively, if you want to pick up in the morning and drop off in the evening, simply select the optional half day add-on when completing your reservation.

Pick Up and Drop Off Time: There is no set pick up and drop off time. You’ll make arrangements suited to your needs and schedule with the van’s owner. You can indicate your preferred pick up and drop off time when completing your reservation; final arrangements will be confirmed with the van’s owner.

Location

Insurance

Insurance coverage includes $1 million in liability to the renter, $1 million in liability to the van owner, and comp and collision coverage up to $125,000. Coverage costs $32.50/day and is required as part of the rental.

Roadside Assistance

We make 24-hour roadside assistance available for $15 a day. Coverage includes unlimited: towing, flat tire assistance, emergency fluids delivery, battery boost, and a mobile mechanic. Many van owners require 24-hour roadside assistance as part of the rental. Where coverage is mandatory, you must either purchase our policy, or show proof of comparable coverage (such as AAA PLUS or PREMIER).

Mileage

125 miles per day is included in every rental. Additional miles are charged at 35 cents per mile. For example, on a four-night rental, you will have 500 free miles. If you traveled 600 miles, you would pay an additional $35 at the end of your trip.

Security Deposit

You’ll pay a security deposit of $1,000 two days before your rental starts. The security deposit is returned, less any additional fees, usually no more than 7 days after you return.

  • Cancellation Policy

Updated as of March 2020. In light of concerns related to traveling during the novel coronavirus outbreak, we are waiving all cancellation and change fees. Whether you can cancel or change your camper van trip if you need to is something you can take off your worry list. We hope this situation ends soon, and we also hope you are able to get a break from it all in a camper van.

We will revert to our standard cancellation policy at a later time.
