Meet Hank! Hank is a 4×4 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter camper van located near Birmingham, Alabama with a penchant for adventure. Hank is ready to take you and your crew out on a vancation you’ll never forget. The conversion of this van was done by Backwoods Adventure Mods and the vehicle itself is ideal for towing a Rustic Mountain Overland adventure trailer, too!
Hank is perfectly suited to seat and sleep two people, but can also be configured to accommodate up to four people. The addition of a second row of seating provides factory seat belts for two extra people, making this a family-friendly van! The super-cozy, queen-size memory foam mattress comfortably sleeps two people on the platform bed. And a Luno air mattress can turn the driver and passenger seats into a compact sleeping area for an additional camper.
Hank offers the following amenities with rental:

If the weather gets chilly, the diesel heater on board will be your new best friend and the Dometic RTX 1000 air conditioner will help you keep your cool. Additionally, Hank has solar panels, lithium batteries, and an ALP portable propane generator to make sure you always feel power-full.
Other fun features include a roof top deck accessible by ladder and a portable fire pit. We have no doubt you’ll be a happy camper with Hank.

All vans are considered “road trip ready.” Whether you are flying in from out of town or looking to explore your own backyard, all you really need to do is stop for groceries before hitting the road. All cookware and tableware is included, as is bedding and a wide array of camping gear. Pick Up and Drop Off
Rentals are Calculated on a 24-hour Basis: The rental period is generally considered to be 24 hours. If you pick up the van at 10 am, you’ll be expected to return it around 10 am. Most van owners can accommodate requests for a few extra hours at $20/hour. Alternatively, if you want to pick up in the morning and drop off in the evening, simply select the optional half day add-on when completing your reservation.
Pick Up and Drop Off Time: There is no set pick up and drop off time. You’ll make arrangements suited to your needs and schedule with the van’s owner. You can indicate your preferred pick up and drop off time when completing your reservation; final arrangements will be confirmed with the van’s owner.

Cancellation Policy
Standard cancellation policy: You can reschedule your trip one time in the same van with no penalty up to 48 hours prior to the rental. Requests to reschedule a trip a second time will incur a 5% rescheduling fee. You can cancel your reservation for a full refund, less a 5% service fee, up to 14 days prior to the rental. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the rental, you will receive a refund for 50% of the rental fee. Cancellations must be made in writing. We are unable to offer refunds for shortened trips if for some reason (e.g. weather, change in schedule) you return the vehicle early. If we cancel the reservation you will receive a full refund.
One-way trip cancellation policy: One-way trips cannot be rescheduled. You can cancel your reservation for a full refund, less a 5% service fee, up to 30 days prior to the rental. If you cancel 15 – 29 days prior to the rental, you will forfeit 100% of the one-way fee and receive a full refund on the remaining reservation line items, less a 5% service fee. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the rental, you will forfeit 100% of the one-way fee and receive a refund for 50% of the remaining rental fees. Cancellations must be made in writing.
