Mr. Mike Makes for Magical Adventures
Mr Mike is named after Mike Sievers, the owner’s beloved step dad. Mike was Oregon born and raised and spent his life in the forest as a logger. He was a rough and tumble guy who always had a great story to tell. You’ll have great stories to tell too if you rent this camper van.
This sweet 1985 Vanagon Camper comes complete with a truck fridge and he’s powered by a Subaru engine, so Mr Mike has more power than your average Westy. Vanagons are the official road trip vehicle, and Mr Mike is ready for yours. He’s super fun to drive … if you know how to drive stick!
Mr Mike also has a propex heater for those chilly fall and winter nights, making him a great option for cold weather camping. And for camping advice, you’ll find no better guide than Mr Mike’s owner, Chris. A Native Oregonian and outdoor enthusiast, she’s a font of knowledge about things to do and places to go in the Pacific Northwest. Plan extra time at pick up to chat in her driveway. In fact, here’s one of Chris’s suggested routes.

Pick Up and Drop Off
Rentals are Calculated on a 24-hour Basis: The rental period is generally considered to be 24 hours. If you pick up the van at 10 am, you’ll be expected to return it around 10 am. Most van owners can accommodate requests for a few extra hours at $20/hour. Alternatively, if you want to pick up in the morning and drop off in the evening, simply select the optional half day add-on when completing your reservation.
Pick Up and Drop Off Time: There is no set pick up and drop off time. You’ll make arrangements suited to your needs and schedule with the van’s owner. You can indicate your preferred pick up and drop off time when completing your reservation; final arrangements will be confirmed with the van’s owner.
