Van Do It is a professionally built van by the talented team at VanDoIt and comes with everything you need to have an awesome camping experience. You could head straight to the Olympic Peninsula, the North Cascades, or any number of other Pacific Northwest iconic destinations.

The VanDoIt team specializes in modular systems that are super adaptable. This van sleeps two on four inch thick mattress pads. There are beds behind the driver and the passenger seats – use them as singles that measure 76″ by 26″ in each bed, or swing them open to make a 76″ by 46″ bed. Alternatively, the modular system can be configured as a couch for sitting inside the van.

The passenger seat swivels to face the rear, and there is a table that can be attached for your working or eating needs. Another table extension in the back of the van creates even more counter space. And if you love biking as much as we do, bring your bikes! There are two fork mounts in the van that fit axles 15x100mm, 15x110mm, and 9x100mm with quick release.

Hop in and Go

All vans are considered “road trip ready.” Whether you are flying in from out of town or looking to explore your own backyard, all you really need to do is stop for groceries before hitting the road. All cookware and tableware is included, as is bedding and a wide array of camping gear. You’ll be sent a detailed list of all the items included in the van before your trip so you can plan accordingly. Select any of the optional add-ons listed below when completing your reservation.

  • 2+ Drivers
    Your reservation already includes costs to verify up to two drivers. Will you have more than two drivers? Add additional driver verifications to your reservation.
  • Add a half day to your rental
    Rental days are based on a 24-hour period. If you pick up at 10 am you are generally expected to return at 10 am. Want to pick up your van in the morning, but drop it off in the evening? Add a half day to your rental.
  • Pet fee
    This van is pet-friendly.
  • Pick up at SEA-TAC
    We'll pick you up at the airport so you can get on the road quickly.
  • SEA-TAC drop off.
    When it is over, we'll drop you off at the airport.

Pick Up and Drop Off

Rentals are Calculated on a 24-hour Basis: The rental period is generally considered to be 24 hours. If you pick up the van at 10 am, you’ll be expected to return it around 10 am. Most van owners can accommodate requests for a few extra hours at $20/hour. Alternatively, if you want to pick up in the morning and drop off in the evening, simply select the optional half day add-on when completing your reservation.

Pick Up and Drop Off Time: There is no set pick up and drop off time. You’ll make arrangements suited to your needs and schedule with the van’s owner. You can indicate your preferred pick up and drop off time when completing your reservation; final arrangements will be confirmed with the van’s owner.



Insurance coverage includes $1 million in liability to the renter, $1 million in liability to the van owner, and comp and collision coverage up to $125,000. Coverage costs $32.50/day and is required as part of the rental.

Roadside Assistance

We make 24-hour roadside assistance available for $15 a day. Coverage includes unlimited: towing, flat tire assistance, emergency fluids delivery, battery boost, and a mobile mechanic. Many van owners require 24-hour roadside assistance as part of the rental. Where coverage is mandatory, you must either purchase our policy, or show proof of comparable coverage (such as AAA PLUS or PREMIER).


125 miles per day is included in every rental. Additional miles are charged at 35 cents per mile. For example, on a four-night rental, you will have 500 free miles. If you traveled 600 miles, you would pay an additional $35 at the end of your trip.

Security Deposit

You’ll pay a security deposit of $1,000 - $1500 (vehicle dependent) two days before your rental starts. The security deposit is returned, less any additional fees, usually no more than 7 days after you return.

  • Cancellation Policy

    You can reschedule your reservation without penalty. You can cancel the vehicle for a full refund, less a 5% service fee, up to 14 days prior to the rental. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the rental, you will receive a refund for 50% of the rental fee. Cancellations must be made in writing.

    We are unable to offer refunds for shortened trips if for some reason (e.g. weather, change in schedule) you return the vehicle early.
